Avoiding traditional biography, let we discuss factors that influenced Newton to produce such a fantastic scientific material. Those were the days of great scientific competition among renowned scientist and mathematician Robert Hooke and Isaac Newton. Many of the historian say that both had strong hatred and some mentions that Robert Hooke tried many times to get credit of Newton's scientific work. Even about the theory of planetary motion, he announced that the original work on that theory was of Robert Hooke. But history never lies! we know that that work purely belongs to Newton and anyone can prove it. Newton's book Principia was a great breakthrough, though it was very difficult at that time to publish that masterpiece because the publisher company was facing a lifetime loss in their business. After a long time, they eventually published the book. Principia included a new tool to work on mathematics, that tool was known as "Calculus" which was going to be a backbone of modern mathematical models and all inventions. Newton's calculus is used in every field of life from medical to electronics, computer science to music, cosmology to chemistry; everywhere.
